Yes, you get a 1-year warranty on the steel construction of the shade port, a 5-year warranty on a waterproof shade net, and a 10-year warranty on a colourshade (porous) shade net.
Some insurers do cover shade ports as part of the insured building structure if the shade port is affixed to the building structure. This is however not a general rule, hence we strongly advise you to confirm with your insurer or insurance broker whether your particular shade port will be covered in terms of your policy.
Installations consist of two phases:
→ Phase 1: The pillars of the steel structure are installed in a concrete foundation and must be left for at least five days to set.
→ Phase 2: Once the foundation pillars are set, the remainder of the shade port gets installed.
The duration of phases one and two depends on variable factors, such as the size of the shade port, the geography and accessibility of the location, the weather, and the availability of materials. Ordinarily, phase one is completed within a day and phase two within one to two days.
Yes, we do require a 50% deposit upon acceptance of a quotation as a confirmation of the order. The remaining 50% is due and payable upon completion of the installation.
